Death Of A Whistleblower – Conspiracy Thriller

A fierce, young, black investigative journalist, Luyanda Masinda (early 30s), has a one-night stand with Stanley Galloway, an editor and colleague, who reveals highly confidential information to her that leads to his hijacking and killing. This sets her firmly on the path of subterfuge and conspiracy. Albert, a coloured military officer at Defence HQ is the whistle-blower she meets who first distrusts her, but as the film barrels to its conclusion, they’re inexorably drawn together. Astha, an Indian woman who has made a small fortune on bitcoin, is her close friend who she shares moments of intimacy together that suggest a long-standing love affair. This is a heart-pounding thriller with love, revenge, and the power of redemption. She’s the girl in the dragon tattoo, in a film that challenges the status quo and dares to ask the hard questions ala ‘The Post’, ‘Spotlight’, ‘All The President’s Men’ and ‘JFK’.
